Meet Plantation Chiropractor Dr. Robert Hanopole

Dr. Robert Hanopole

After receiving multiple sports related injuries in high school and getting such great results from chiropractic care as a teenager, Dr. Hanopole set his sights on becoming a chiropractor.

However, this goal became sidetracked while in undergraduate college as he initially chose to pursue a different noble degree and career path.  While achieving a high level of success in this other field of interest he often found himself dissatisfied and lacking a higher sense of purpose.  At that point he utilized every free moment and opportunity to research and learn more about true health, fitness, nutrition and the inner-workings of the human body.  In order to satisfy this insatiable desire, Dr. Hanopole made a life-changing decision in 1990 and resigned from his previous position to pursue his real inner passion and life's calling... a career in chiropractic.  He has never looked back!

"This career change was completely validated to me when I was a student in chiropractic college and was diagnosed with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis.  I could hardly walk and use my hands and the medical professionals I visited only gave me a choice of three anti-inflammatories and stated that I would be on these strong drugs for the rest of my life!  At that precise moment, I was determined to only seek a holistic approach and solution utilizing chiropractic care, nutrition, and stress reduction techniques... and one year later I totally regained my health!  I now have no sign or symptom of any kind of arthritis and live a very active and pain free lifestyle.  Thanks to this experience I have realized my life's purpose to help others who have lost their health and are looking to regain it instead of merely masking their symptoms with dangerous drugs."

Dr. Hanopole began his chiropractic education with his undergraduate and pre-chiropractic requirements at the University of Maryland and Life College.  At these institutions, he studied basic pre-professional courses and the basic sciences such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, along with basic physiology and anatomy courses.

After completing his course of study there, he was accepted at Life College of Chiropractic in Marrietta, Georgia.  During his four years of studies at Life Chiropractic, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, x-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care at the Life College Chiropractic Clinic.

"Each year," continues Dr. Hanopole, "the staff and I attend various seminars to keep up with the latest research and newest developments in the chiropractic profession.  That keeps our skills in top form."

Helping the World From Plantation, Florida

Dr. Hanopole has helped thousands of local residents as well as international patients regain their health since opening his practice in 1995.

He has observed that his patients get the best results from care when they have a solid understanding of what it truly takes to achieve optimal health.  Dr. Hanopole regularly teaches his patients about the value of proper nutrition, exercise, rejuvenation, emotional well being and a healthy nervous system.  He feels that the more a patient is truly empowered and engaged in their specific health challenges and recovery goals, the better opportunity they have to get well and stay well.

Dr. Hanopole and his wife, Stacey, enjoy an active South Florida lifestyle with their two children, Kaylee and Jake.  The entire family receives periodic chiropractic check-ups and live a wellness lifestyle filled with good nutrition, plenty of exercise and lots of fun!

Stacey and Dr. Hanopole make time to get to the gym at least six days each week.  They feel strongly that you have to "walk the walk before you can talk the talk."  Dr. Hanopole and his wife also use natural approaches to their family's health concerns, taking more drastic measures only as a last resort.  "The human body has an innate ability to heal itself and function normally, and if you are going through a health challenge, the first thing to do is to remove any interference to this process.  This is what the essence chiropractic is all about."

"I've been told that I am an excellent listener and hope to get the opportunity to meet you in person and discuss your specific health challenges!  Please give our Plantation office a call or email me using the link below."

Dr. Rob Asks some important questions of interest to Plantation residents - Chiropractor Plantation Dr. Rob Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
